| Tsui Hang Village's sweet and sour pork on ice with pineapple |
We've all eaten sweet and sour pork in different variations, but how about this one?
At Tsui Hang Village in Tsim Sha Tsui, the restaurant's version is called "Sweet and Sour Pork on Ice" for HK$208 US$26.70).
When it arrived, the bite-sized pieces of the pork were served in a bowl made of ice and next to it slices of fresh pineapple. It was presented deconstructed, but had an added dimension.
Not only was there a sweet and sour taste going on, but also hot and cold!
